Nissan Australia has announced a Corporate Social Responsibility partnership with Habitat for Humanity ? a not for profit organisation which builds houses for low-income and underprivileged families.

Nissan Australia, the regional importer and distributor of Nissan commercial and passenger vehicles, together with its parent company Nissan Motor Co. in Japan, today announced it will be donating the initial sum of $100,000 to the Victorian Bushfire Relief Fund.

The Butterfly Foundation is Australian's premier community based charity that supports eating disorder sufferers and their carers.  Much of The Butterfly Foundation's work is based on helping young people build positive self-esteem by understanding and dealing with feelings about their physical appearance and how this affects their self esteem.

Nissan Australia is partnering with three leading Australian Universities to provide financial support to the next generation of industrial designers.  Nissan is partnering with Victoria's Monash University, The University of New South Wales and The University of Queensland.  The merit-based scholarships will provide financial assistance to students studying industrial design and the arts.
