Australian made
Nissan Australia opened its Australian headquarters in 1972, where we manufactured cars for the next 20 years. Nissan Australia is the only remaining OEM to still manufacture parts in Australia via a dedicated casting plant.
Employing 192 highly skilled workers, the casting plant runs three shifts a day, seven days a week, making approximately 2.6 million die-cast aluminium parts and over 16,000 tow bars - with an annual export value of $82.5 million.
